Jonathan, Julian, Meharle, and Jay, met over shared meals and hilarious conversations at the Escapades Dinner Club Program. They liked each other from the start. At the beginning they didn’t know much about each other except that when they were together they had a great time because of a shared sense of humour. From those dinner great friendships blossomed, the men have been away for weekends, visited each other for birthday parties, BBQ’s and to celebrate special events like the AFL grand final.
It wasn’t hard to create the moments that enabled these friendships to grow. A dinner instead of a structured program, a respite opportunity that was about going away with mates instead of going to a respite house and staying with strangers, and team of staff who want the absolute best for you , and make sure that you are supported to connect to the people you want to be with.
