Milparinka is a community organisation that provides a wide range of supports for people who have a disability. We support under 200 people in Victoria in a range of community, home and living and centre based supports. Some people we support for just a few hours a week and others for a lot more. We do not seek to get any bigger because we believe that size matters. If agencies become too big then it is easy to lose connections with people and more decisions get made that are about keeping a business, rather than service quality, alive.
We have been around for over 70 years, and we know that there are many ways that we can contribute positively in people’s lives. However nothing beats being able to work alongside a person who has a disability and their family in partnerships achieving outcomes that are important to them.

Acknowledgement of Country
Milparinka acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders both past and present
